Faith - It is The Only Way

I believe the justified will live by faith. Romans 1:17 says
NKJ – For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
New Century Version – The Good News shows how God makes people right with himself-that it begins and ends with faith.
Message – God’s way of putting people right shows up in acts of faith, confirming what Scripture has said all along; “The person in right standing before God by trusting him really lives.
The Good News effect, Justification, progressive Sanctification, whatever you call it happens only by faith in God. I am incapable of doing anything to advance my own Righteousness or Salvation. Through faith in God I am justified and saved. From Faith to Faith means faith is at the beginning of the salvation process, and it is the goal as well. When a person first exercises faith in Christ, he is saved from the penalty of sin and declared righteous. As the believer lives by faith, God continues to save him or her from the power of sin to live righteously. Moving into a position of right standing with God only happens when we trust him.
